With over 30 years of hands-on and leadership experience in welding engineering, metallurgy, and special process management within the aerospace sector, I specialise in the development, qualification, and control of high-integrity joining and thermal processing techniques—ranging from vacuum brazing and heat treatment to advanced welding and non-destructive testing.I currently lead thermal processing and welding operations across two sites at MJ Sections Ltd, managing cross-functional teams, compliance to aerospace standards (e.g, NADCAP, AS9100), and R&D activities focused on advanced materials and joining technologies. My background combines shop-floor expertise with strategic oversight, giving me a unique ability to translate engineering requirements into reliable, certifiable processes.Holding an MSc in Welding Engineering from Cranfield University, I’m now pursuing a second MSc in Advanced Materials to stay at the cutting edge of material science and manufacturing innovation. I’m also IWS/EWS certified, with TWI Diplomas in both Welding Technology and Welding Engineering.I’m passionate about driving quality, capability, and innovation in aerospace manufacturing—and always open to technical collaboration, knowledge exchange, or strategic consulting opportunities.
