CNC Programmer/ Operator:Create CNC programs for the shop floor, milling, turning and mill-turn machines.Hands-on approach, recognizing area for programming improvement.Determine the machining operations.Prepare working sketches or solid model if necessary.Provide required cutting tools and inserts a head of time of machining to the machinists.Load programs into CNC machines using network connection, USB or floppy disk.Work closely with design engineer team to connect the design requirements to the machining processes.Design jigs and fixtures for the complex parts or for increasing efficiency and productivityAdhere to quality procedures and actively participate in the quality improvement process.Provide help to machinists and machine operators on daily basis.Create set up work sheets to speed up setup time in the machine.Create tool list of every machining part and provide tools to help machinist spending time looking for the tools.* Job Task Planning and Routing:Determine the machining operations to be performed and estimating hours of each operation.Provide quote to the customers.Scheduling the part to the machineProviding the customers possible deadline* Purchasing:Create purchasing orders using Jobboss (ERP management system)Develop and conduct tools and inserts inventory.Contact vendors if inventory is low.
