ABOUT MICHAEL DICARO

I am an actively practicing Attending Physician with full license to practice Internal Medicine independently in the state of Nevada. I am currently pursuing specialization in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. I have authored and co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of Internal Medicine and Cardiology, which have been cited over 100 times. I have been recognized by the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention, The American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV for my research and scholarly activity.I am a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honors Society, The American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and American College of Physicians. I have experience in clinical medicine, basic science research, bench-to-bedside research, and assessment of early-stage therapeutics for commercial potential. I have interests in clinical cardiology, development of cardiovascular therapeutics, and medical device commercialization strategies. I received a medical degree (MD) from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, a Masters of Science (MS) in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, an Entrepreneurship Certificate from the McGuire Entrepreneurship Center, and Residency Training from the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV.
