With over 15 years of experience in various quality roles, I am a passionate and driven quality leader who strives to deliver excellence and customer satisfaction across diverse industries. I currently head the quality department at the manufacturing division of DFS, a leading manufacturer of furniture products with five facilities in the UK.In my current role, I have successfully achieved FSC accreditation, reduced customer complaints, maintained the British Kitemark, and introduced an 8D problem-solving approach for continuous improvement. I also lead a team of quality professionals who ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Previously, I was responsible for product quality in the application of special coatings for jet engine and gas turbine components, as well as managing AS9100 and NADCAP accreditations. I have also delivered multiple new product introductions and cost savings of over $20M through quality improvements in rolling stock and construction equipment manufacturing projects. I have a strong background in operations management and electrical engineering, and I hold the Chartered Quality Professional and Engineering Technician certifications.
