Hi! I\'m Mia, a Senior Associate with the Quantitative Insights team at Material, where I manage research projects for clients across industries. I oversee survey design, data collection, and analysis, ensuring high-quality deliverables and actionable insights. I apply analytical tools to identify patterns, draw conclusions, and support data-driven recommendations across multiple projects.Previously, I worked at Harvard University’s Laboratory for Developmental Studies, managing multiple experimental studies on socio-cognitive development across the lifespan. My work included data management, statistical analysis, survey design, and communicating results for academic and public audiences. I enjoyed working with complex datasets and using data to answer meaningful questions about how people think, learn, and interact.Additionally, I am the Marketing Intern at Samaritans, a Boston-based suicide prevention organization. Here, I assist in the creation of educational materials which promote mental health awareness and advertise the lifesaving services offered by Samaritans. This experience has allowed me to apply my creative skillset and produce compassionate and engaging content that shapes public behavior and awareness.In my spare time, I love reading nonfiction historical books, especially those about Latin America and the Caribbean. I\'m currently supporting the creation of a book manuscript on the Miskitu Kingdom as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University, analyzing 18th–19th century British colonial records from the UK National Archives. This work gives me the opportunity to explore how people living in the region at the time understood and navigated the world around them, extending my broader interest in behavioral trends and individual perception.I bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail to every project I work on, and I thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
