As a passionate biology educator with over 8 years of experience in higher education, I specialize in teaching botany, plant biology, and general biology at the community college level. I hold a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University of Georgia and have extensive research experience in plant physiology, secondary cell wall biosynthesis, and xylan biosynthetic pathways.I am committed to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments where diverse student populations can thrive. I design engaging, hands-on lab activities and interactive lectures that make complex biological concepts accessible to all learners.
