Major Accomplishments as Development Professional• Proven success directing and growing Annual Campaigns and directing Capital Campaigns. Training as a fundraiser came from active involvement as a volunteer for United Jewish Appeal, serving as a member of the U.J.A. young leadership cabinet coupled with years of experience as a Director of Development. I have been able to hone my flair for fundraising to develop three of the most essential qualities of a good development professional; the ability to listen, patience, and knowing when to ask.• Successfully completed a $2 million Capital Campaign in 16 months for Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy. • Successfully led the completion of a $5 million Capital Campaign for Maimonides Academy of Baltimore in early 2002, increasing the support base from 73 donors to more than 400 donors, including an unprecedented $1 million challenge grant from the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Foundation.• Initiated Maimonides Academy of Baltimore\'s first Annual Campaign raising $400K from 200 donors, and planned and directed the Annual Campaign, with progressive annual growth, to raise more than $800K from more than 500 donors.• Increased the net income of Maimonides Academy of Baltimore\'s Annual Event from from 200 supporters to more than from more than 600 supporters. Successfully developed techniques to expand the donor base, and stewarded many Event supporters to become donors to the Capital and Annual Campaigns.
