This was a new role for WiSE. The role aimed to increase media presence in Wetherby and Leeds, but soon developed into other communications including newsletter, website, social media and marketing along with developing the charity’s brand. I have also taken responsibility of ad-hoc project work and the development of a new service area- Writing and distributing news articles, case studies and features for local print, online and broadcast media- Managing media enquiries- Writing interesting content for all social media platforms - Designing the charity’s marketing material on canva, including posters, leaflets, menus, fundraising packs and activities timetables - Maintaining and updating website content - Managing the quarterly newsletter from planning to distribution - Liaising with journalists, local agencies, community partners and charity service users and volunteers- Developing the communications for the charity’s consultation project- Leading on and developing the Send a Smile Scheme- Writing monthly reports - Writing and managing the design of the charity’s Annual Report
