ABOUT MELISSA MOODY

After 14 years at Google, I dove right into the addictive world of startups as a Founder, CMO, and CEO. And in all of those exec meetings, board rooms, investor calls. I kept noticing the same thing: extraordinary women, leading in remarkable ways, that almost no one knew about. Not because they weren\'t talented. Because they didn\'t have the right network around them. Because they always put others before themselves. Because they weren\'t sure the spotlight was for them. So in 2023, we started shining the spotlight. What started as weekly features of brilliant leaders, grew into a global movement, and then a private membership. We believe in an abundance mindset — there\'s room for all to shine — and in the idea that meaningful 1:1 human connection leads to real business impact.My background is in growth-stage marketing – the messy, high-stakes work of building strategy and execution for companies finding their footing and their market. Google gave me a masterclass in what great marketing looks like at scale: working with Fortune 500 brands on cross-channel strategy and user experience. I took away a passion for focusing on the user experience that served me well in startup-land. I was CMO and co-founder at Gated (a $3M-raised SaaS company), CEO at Matcha, and now advisor to a select portfolio of growth-stage businesses. I\'ve run multiple podcasts and am currently Executive Producer on the Wednesday Women show \'The Ripple\" and host of \'The Joy of Connecting\". If you\'re building something ambitious and figuring out your go-to-market, I\'m never shy about sharing my opinions. Outside of work: I live in Alaska, which should tell you something about my appetite for adventure.
