ABOUT MELISSA SLATER
Having over 30 years of project work experience in the Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) industry, with more than 20 years of project management and leadership positions. Leading design teams, junior staff, and managing multi-million-dollar programs of multiple-projects in IDIQ contract performance has given me experience in managing project work. I am most comfortable within a team atmosphere that fosters coordination, communication, and synergy in problem solving. Working globally with people of different countries has opened my mind to how different cultures approach business. With a proven track record of successfully delivered, highly technical Commercial, Heavy and Light Industrial, Pharma-Biological, Petro-Chemical (extraction, refinement, retail), and Federal (Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and Homeland Security) projects I would make an excellent edition to any firm. In the fourth year of teaching as an Assistant Professor of Project Management, I have extensive experience teaching in all modalities (Online, Hybrid, and Face-to-face).
