Melissa Keckler serves as the Membership Engagement and Development Director for Arizona Forward. In this capacity, she is responsible for designing and implementing the Arizona Forward membership growth and retention strategy that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.Melissa has a background in membership management and coordination, political and campaign consulting, community outreach and awareness, and lobbying at the municipal and state levels of government. She is successful in the areas of overall campaign strategic planning, message and issue development, community outreach and awareness, and media relations. Her skillful experience in state and municipal interest development; experience in grassroots coordination and issue development; organizing existing stakeholders while identifying, recruiting, and mobilizing new supporters is invaluable to the organizations she represents. Melissa’s proficiencies include topics such as economic development, renewable energy, voting rights, education, social issues, humane issues, among others.As a native to Arizona, Melissa graduated from Arizona State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy Advocacy and Lobbying. She loves to golf when the heat permits, cooking of any kind, and reading historical/political novels and science fiction or mysteries.
