Responsibilities include:Strategic planning - Work with other senior management and the Board of Directors in establishing the strategic direction of Lex Mundi, resulting in new branding and a three-year strategic plan.Conference organization - Responsible for the planning, organization and execution of seven global events annually for 80 - 350 attendees. Work with local firms and the Program Committee to establish the conference budget, find venues, and develop the program. Coordinate with the hotel regarding logistics and speakers regarding their programs.Member services - Organize and administer all aspects of the annual membership review process; coordinate dues collection; evaluated and implemented member database; communicate with members regarding policies; work with marketing staff on communications for new member firms; participate in presentations to member firms. Committee management - Serve as staff liaison to eight committees; work with volunteers to establish objectives for the committee and coordinate committee meetings; update committee web pages. In addition, I am responsible for Lex Mundi GOAL (Global Opportunities for Advancement and Leadership for Women in the Legal Profession). In this role, I work with the GOAL task forces and consultants to develop initiatives to assist firms in the retention, advancement and business development of female lawyers.Staff supervision - Directly supervise three employees.Office management - Until the Director of Administration was hired in 2008, I was responsible for all office management and human resource functions, budget preparation and office technology.
