ABOUT MELINA ALMEIDA
I am an Environmental Engineering student at São Paulo State University (UNESP – São José dos Campos), currently in my final semester. My academic and professional background is focused on sustainability, ESG, and the application of geotechnologies such as GIS and Remote Sensing to environmental challenges.At Embraer, I work as a Sustainability Intern in the ESG team, supporting projects related to GHG emissions management, SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) supply chain development, ESG risk analysis, supply chain assessments (CDP, conflict minerals), DE & I initiatives, and the preparation of ESG reports aligned with global standards such as GRI, SASB, IFRS, CSRD, and TCFD.I was also an intern at Visiona Space Technology, where I contribute to commercial operations by applying geospatial tools (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Google Earth) to product strategy, pricing, client presentations, and technical content creation.In parallel with my academic journey, I was a PIBITI/CNPq research fellow for three years, working on applied projects involving LiDAR data, 3D modeling, and environmental risk mapping.My experience reflects a strong commitment to integrating sustainability and technology in both research and corporate contexts. I aim to contribute to ESG strategies that generate measurable impact and long-term value.
