Steelcase invests in human-centered research about the ways and places people work, directly and in collaboration with our community of distinguished research leaders and organizations. Our global WorkSpace Futures team of researchers is centered around the core practice of direct observation of people at work, but our methodologies extend to a broader set of capabilities to better understand our market. Through our practices of Foresight, Design Strategy, and UX Research, we lead our industry with an insight-led approach. Together with our partners, we also conduct exploratory research on emerging technology and behaviors. Our research uncovers insights that lead us to innovation and breakthrough design, developed into products and solutions that put people first in relation to their entire environment, at work and beyond. We also lead our industry by sharing what we learn with the design community and our customers, giving them tools to create the best possible places and experiences for their own unique audiences.
