WORK HISTORY
Communications Manager @Unison For Generations 50
Calgary, AB, CA
Unison for generations 50+ strives to help Alberta\'s seniors live their best lives. My contribution to this large-scale effort is the production of a monthly flagship newspaper, Unison News. This 28-page traditional newspaper features regular contributors, monthly recipes, research highlights, and more. What would a communications role be without social media management? My day-to-day includes a lot of time on social media, because Canada\'s senior population is growing, and more and more people are online. It\'s great! I also edit everything and anything, prepare press releases, supply media highlights, and plenty of other little things that round out a wholesome and rewarding career that helps and informs Alberta\'s community of older adults.
