ABOUT MEGAN ROWLANDS

I am an experienced senior digital and product leader working with non-profit organisations. I lead teams who deliver the highest quality results, on schedule, and within resource through creative problem solving and people-centred leadership. My ability to inspire teams, engage with diverse stakeholders, and drive evidence-based decisions has been fundamental to my success. I currently work with the RSPCA to revolutionise how they deliver digital impact through the latest technical products, facilitate more efficient ways of working, and support the charity to help more animals in need and achieve their strategic aims. In 2021, I innovated and scaled a prototype mobile fitness app for the RAF - the first of its kind. The results? Fitter ‍ and more mentally resilient 🤸‍ people, and a huge cost saving to the MOD Fitness test results improved by 16% in the first 6 months. Championing equality, diversity and inclusion is an important part of my work. I\'m \'woke\' and proud of it. Diversity of thought is key to achieving the most original ideas and the best results! I\'m dedicated to making a positive impact on the world around me, and so when I\'m not working, I enjoy volunteering my time. I also enjoy reading (anything from fantasy novels to political history), and I’m studying Philosophy part-time at the University of Oxford.My cover photo is by Jeff Moore.
