Responsible for planning and executing visits to PNNL by federal sponsors, elected officials and their staff; serves as project manager for a wide-range of events including conferences (50 - 250 people) tours, business meetings, building dedications and receptions; develops project plans, communication plans, strategies, agendas and budgets; fulfills local, regional and national requests as part of PNNL’s Speakers Bureau; oversees the Community Science and Technology Seminar Series which highlights research and development activities at PNNL.Served as Project Manager for staff and community events with responsibilities including development of project plans, budgets, messages and talking points, marketing materials, and coordination of speakers including Laboratory leadership, elected officials and federal sponsors, for events including the Pacific Northwest Regional Resilience Summit, Grid Modernization Summit, NW Quantum Nexus Summit, Capability Replacement Laboratory Celebration and Community Reception, Lab Homes Dedication Ceremony and Reception, and the Systems Engineering Building Dedication. Served as lead and team member on directorate- and enterprise-level projects aimed at improving internal communications efforts and further developing marketing and communication skills for communication professionals at the Laboratory. Served as team member for the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Graduate Fellowship Program, managed by PNNL. Responsibilities included supporting roles in recruiting, onboarding, career development and orientation activities, and the lead role for interview activities, coordinating a complex schedule of in-person, video, and telephone interviews for more than 125 applicants interviewing with 43 program offices across the country.
