ABOUT NICOLAS VAN TULDER

I have over a decade\'s experience in solving complex and ambiguous problems in various global contexts, working with cross-functional teams and diverse partners. As a Civil Affairs Team Leader at US Army, I developed and managed strategic partnerships with the Ghanaian Armed Forces and civil society actors to advance Special Operations Command-Africa (SOCAFRICA) objectives. I leveraged my intercultural communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills to engage with senior US and Ghanaian officials and serve as SOCAFRICA Liaison to USAID West Africa. I recently completed a three-month corporate fellowship at Slalom, where I led a client engagement to craft a tailored solution for crisis communications, delivering a playbook that was adopted for roll out across all global facilities. I hold a B.A. in International Studies and Economics from University of Washington, and I speak French, Spanish, and Arabic. I am passionate about learning new skills and perspectives, and I seek opportunities to apply my analytical, creative, and adaptable mindset to make a positive impact.
