ABOUT MEGAN GREEN
Megan Green serves as Outreach Director for Collaborative Classroom (formerly Developmental Studies Center), a mission-driven, nonprofit organization. Since 1980 Collaborative Classroom has conducted research on what the needs are of students to build relationships and a sense of connection. This research led to the development and dissemination of Caring School Community (CSC), a CASEL Select Program used across the United States. As Outreach Director, Megan leads the organization’s efforts to bring CSC to school districts. Megan started her career as an elementary school teacher and led the program development and professional learning efforts for AfterSchool KidzMath™, AfterSchool KidzLit®, and AfterSchool KidzScience™. Megan’s long career at the Collaborative Classroom has given her a deep understanding of curriculum development, professional learning, and supporting implementation at scale.
