ABOUT MEDHA TATER

Hello, I’m Medha Tater, a final-year student at Warwick Business School, where I’m pursuing a BSc in Accounting and Finance. My academic journey and diverse internships have fueled my passion for financial services, particularly in the realms of audit and compliance.During my internships at Himalayan Everest Insurance, Imperial Securities, and Sunrise Bank, I’ve immersed myself in the intricacies of insurance policies, trading, capital market operations, and commercial banking. These experiences have refined my skills in risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis, teaching me the critical importance of precision and accuracy.As the Head of Events at Warwick Kickstart, I lead a dynamic team in organising impactful events featuring industry experts. This role has sharpened my organisational and leadership skills and reinforced the importance of effective communication and teamwork in achieving our goals. Additionally, my role as Co-Founder of The Orange Initiative, where I organised charity events for children\'s education, reflects my commitment to social responsibility and making a positive impact.I’m proficient in Excel and Tableau and constantly seek to expand my skill set to stay ahead in the ever-evolving financial industry. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I’m a competitive basketball player with four years of senior team experience, which has further developed my teamwork and strategic thinking abilities.I am eager to connect with like-minded professionals in the financial services sector and explore opportunities in audit and compliance where I can contribute and grow.
