Utilize scripting including Python, Ansible, Jenkins and NETCONF to automate network provisioning, network changes and assist in troubleshooting • Develop and maintain tools to improve network reliability, improve deployment time and consistency of network changes, assist in troubleshooting and remediation of advanced network issues • Model network configuration and operational data in a standard format • Document processes, procedures, and scripting standards • Develop testing platforms to validate network configuration before changes are made using IXIA IxLOAD and BreakingPoint • Build network reports for capacity management and error detection • Lead efforts around network engineering automation initiatives; contribute code and engage in code reviews • Assess current network engineering implementations and recommend automation processes to improve availability validation and successful deployments • Improve and promote configuration and lifecycle management processes • Create scripts and tools to manage and maintain a multi-vendor, network environment including SDWAN, Network as a Service (NaaS) and traditional CLI • Using DevOps tools, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, RestAPI and Linux – manage Cisco Meraki and VeloCloud devices • Store device config in NetBox and MySQL database
