ABOUT MARIUS BUIBAS

As a founder, technical manager and engineer with two decades of experience, I\'ve helped raise over $100M in funding; authored 26 issued patents; built and managed teams of over 50 people in different disciplines; and engineered products that have shipped in the millions.I have built fully autonomous store spaces, developing new AI/ML and vision algorithms, combining mechanisms, electronics, sensors, and user interfaces. As a founder and CTO of Accel Robotics, I\'ve raised funds; developed a technical path (invented where required); hired an amazing, multi-disciplinary team; and delivered a solution with class leading performance, at the lowest operating and hardware cost.I\'ve worked on biologically-inspired neural processor architectures; built AI robotic platforms; and studied theoretical physics as a postdoc. I hold a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego, where I developed techniques to better understand how biological networks are connected and communicate.
