As Marketing Chair for Remote Area Medical, I play a pivotal role in advancing healthcare accessibility by designing outreach initiatives that connect underserved populations with free, high-quality medical, dental, and vision services. My responsibilities include developing educational materials that highlight the scope of care offered at RAM pop-up clinics, such as preventative care, women’s health services, and diagnostic screenings.I work closely with the executive team to ensure that outreach efforts effectively address community healthcare needs. This includes creating and disseminating patient-focused resources, such as secondary care brochures, to facilitate continuity of care post-clinic visits. Additionally, I coordinate strategic tabling events and community engagement opportunities to raise awareness of RAM’s services and enhance patient access.This role has allowed me to bridge the gap between public health communication and healthcare delivery, providing insight into the logistical and strategic planning required to support large-scale medical outreach. My work has deepened my understanding of community health disparities and reinforced my commitment to addressing barriers to healthcare access.
