ABOUT MAXIM MARTINEZ ALMENAS

As a marketing and communications executive, I build campaigns that preserve legacy, expand equity, and connect communities through storytelling.Currently, I serve as Director of Marketing & Communications for Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark—where I’ve led record-breaking campaigns ($30M+ in sales), launched bilingual digital strategies, and produced award-winning video content, including Legends Remembered: Yogi Berra – Faith, Family, and Baseball.I’m also Executive Producer and Director of The Martinez Brothers – The Untold Baseball Story of Talent, Tragedy, and Legacy, a film about my grandfather and his three brothers—pioneering Dominican ballplayers. One of them, Horacio “Rabbit” Martinez, was a 5-time Negro League All-Star and the first Dominican scout for the NY/SF Giants, credited with opening the original MLB pipeline from the Dominican Republic. As a proud member of the Negro League Family Alliance, I’ve partnered on key events such as the 2024 East-West Classic in Cooperstown, MLB’s historic Rickwood Field Game, and MLB’s 2025 Black History where we collaborated on a video based on Horacio “Rabbit” Martinez, that was viewed by millions on their show “Hot Stove,” and generated more than a half million views on Instagram. These shared efforts reflect my commitment to uplifting historically underrepresented stories and continuing the work of those who came before us.My progressive experience has allowed me to lead marketing across diverse audiences and platforms with strategic, data-driven, and mission-centered campaigns. From developing an AI-powered website with chatbots and geo-targeted ads to managing multi-language content, I’ve created holistic programs that boost visibility and drive results.I lead with a creative mind, a collaborative spirit, and an unwavering belief in the power of narrative. Whether working with internal teams, external agencies, or nonprofit partners, I guide cross-functional efforts that elevate brand storytelling and create lasting community connections.Let’s connect if you believe in legacy, justice, and storytelling with soul.
