ABOUT MAURIZIO MOTTOLA
My academic career has been focused on food technology since the beginning. I completed my Bachelor degree in Food Technology at University of Tuscia, Viterbo discussing a thesis on physico-chemical features of pasta under different cooking methodologies. Thanks to this research experience, I developed many laboratory and research skills. I recently graduated in Food Quality and Biosecurity from the University of Pisa, during this time I took part in the European Erasmus + program which gave me the opportunity to study at the University of Ghent, Belgium, where I improved my skills linguistics and my ability to adapt. I also had the opportunity to carry out an internship in the research laboratories of the department, where I worked in the field of baking, winemaking and non-destructive analytical methods, specifically Biosensors in collaboration with the CNR- NANO of the \"Scuola Normale di Pisa \" Beside academia, I worked as analyst in a chemistry and microbiology food laboratory. Being the responsible, I developed leadership, as well as teamwork and problem solving skills. I have just finished a work experience in the \"Egidio Galbani Lactalis Italy\" group in Milan, I learned what it means to work within a fast-paced environment where there are many tasks to which priority must be given. Through all these experiences I have learned to be steadfast and determined.
