ABOUT MATT SHEA
I have several years experience in developing, series producing, edit producing and directing across a broad range of popular documentary and factual formats, for broadcast, digital and cinematic release. I specialise in idea generation and realisation as well as difficult access and undercover investigations. Years of work in both development and the field has given me a thorough grasp of what makes a good story, well-told.I currently switch between Series Producer/Director and Development Producer on a rolling freelance basis for a number of production companies and broadcasters. I have produced and directed hundreds of hours of content that has been viewed by millions of people online and on broadcast, including some of the most successfully performing films and series in VICE\'s history.As well as development and production, I also work as an on-screen presenter and reporter for VICE and the BBC. I am also an active print and written journalist, covering international news, culture, music and human interest
