ABOUT MATTHIEU BOISGONTIER
Dr. Matthieu Boisgontier is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa in the Faculty of Health Sciences. His research program combines neuroscience, psychology, and health to contribute to understanding physical inactivity. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, including over 50 as first or senior author, with over citations. He has secured over $2M in external funding as a Principal Investigator (e.g, NSERC, CFI, Banting Research Foundation, MITACS, FWO), trained over 50 highly qualified staff, been invited to give over 15 presentations and lectures, served on 10 editorial boards including one as Editor-in-Chief (Communications in Kinesiology), founded the Peer Community In (PCI) Health & Movement Sciences, reviewed over 250 manuscripts, and served on provincial (e.g, FRQNT), national (e.g, CIHR, NSERC, Mitacs), and international (e.g, European Commission, FWO) grant committees.
