With a diverse range of eCommerce-related experiences, I have previously specialised in simplifying the intricate relationships between complex business process software and services to end-users.Highly motivated, disciplined individual, capable of managing multiple businesses and remote teams at the same time. Proven experience of leveraging outsourcing when needed and able to build a team with clear guidelines to deliver results quickly.Also proven to comprehend complex, interrelated software products/services (see prior work experience) with the ability to \"dumb things down\" to end users so they can be implemented.Web development has been a hobby turned business over the last decade. I love learning new things and enjoy the challenge of taking an idea, then making it happen.Current Activities (2024):Self studying AWS Cloud Certifications full-time. Just passed the Cloud Practitioner exam (CLF-C02), working on Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03).My end goal is to complete more AWS certifications, CKAD/CKA, to add PRINCE2, CSM to the list, then focus on security (this is all flexible.).Also developing a SaaS platform using Next JS 14.Development Background:Created a successful SaaS product for businesses that use eBay using a mixture of technologies suitable at the time. Including but not limited to PHP, MySQL, NodeJs, Backbone JS, Lambda, Step functions, DynamoDb & AWS API gateway.Written and implemented a high volume API for eBay notifications using AWS step functions, lambda (NodeJS) and DynamoDb to manage updates about listings, orders, feedback & related push notifications.Excellent knowledge of my chosen framework Next JS,+13.4. App Router preferred with Server Actions. TypeScript, Prisma, Zod, NextUI, Tailwind & Daisy UI.NodeJS with Express, React, PHP (OOP & Yii2), SQL & NoSQL, GIT, API integrations and most AWS services such as Lambda, step functions, EC2, ALB, IAM, Dynamo Db etc. from a web development perspective. Education Business:We ran a successful education business for SME owners that use the eBay & Amazon marketplaces and also wanted an integrated website to fully manage their inventory, orders and business processes.The team, which was based in the Philippines, helped us create hundreds of video tutorials organised into logical courses. We built the team from scratch interviewing, hiring and training candidates that we identified as being a good match to our requirements. And used SCRUM to manage the team, which helped us deliver courses quickly and identify any areas where we need to focus on.
