Developed a set of automation tools for teams to interact with Azure API Management, consolidating hundreds of pipelines and code repositories into one, significantly reducing manual work and saving time for both development and support teams.• Configured Kubernetes clusters with enterprise standard add-ons and configurations, including ingress controllers, Istio service mesh, security and monitoring tools. Integrated the clusters into existing CD tooling and worked with internal Cloud Engineering and Networking teams to identify and resolve technical issues with the usage of new clusters.• Provided ongoing support to over a dozen development teams in both non-production and production environments, including assisting with software debugging, integration of new infrastructure, build and deployment issues, and regular maintenance of all environments. Conducted onboarding to Enterprise standards such as common helm charts, docker images, code scanning and deployment methods.• Organized and oversaw quarterly upgrades of Kubernetes clusters from two cloud providers, leading initial upgrades and later overseeing and instructing new team members as they began organising upgrades on their own. • Participated in a on-call 24/7 schedule, spending one in every four weeks on-call for any support required with weekly and monthly releases, as well as production level issues. Included participating in weekly agile releases of major code changes, infrastructure upgrades and changes, and ad-hoc assistance in production. Responsible for response time of five minutes or less for production incidents. • Conducted the mass migration of thousands of workloads from outdated cloud infrastructure to improved infrastructure. Identified firewalls to update, worked with cloud and legacy on-prem teams to implement deployment and changes to both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, and organized developments to support migrations. Enabled the consolidation of multiple Kubernetes clusters.
