Review preliminary record drawings prior to final acceptance for DCAPs and CIPs.Review easement legal descriptions and sketches prior to approving them to be recorded with the Clerk of Courts.Update utility feature datasets within GIS as depicted from record drawings, legal descriptions, GPS data, AutoCAD drawings and aerials.Analyze existing infrastructure on record drawings and incorporate newly accepted infrastructure into GIS.Research and resolve GIS related problems associated with digital mapping and database files, utilizing aerial photograph interpretation and field research, among other research techniques.Georeference utility drawings and create hyperlinks to the construction or record drawing plan sheets.Synchronize edits between GIS and Lee County Utilities’ Computerized Maintenance Management System software (CMMS).Assist in fulfilling data requests made by consultants for county utilities within specified locations.Manage digital map layers and data files within project workspace.Perform medium to complex definition queries in GIS to define a subset of features to work with or display map exhibits.Prepare digital and hardcopy maps for County staff and the general public.Assist the public and county staff in defining their mapping and geographic data needs, and aid in interpreting maps and map features.Perform GPS data collection for field operations staff, utilizing basic surveying techniques applied to water and wastewater assets, property lines, rights-of-way, easements, etc.Assist in developing CIP project design packages and final record drawings.Assist in developing and revising standard utility details.Assist in preparing red, green, and brown lines (RGBs) for future project planning by external entities.Assist in completing utility work schedules (UWSs) for coordinated right-of-way projects.
