Cision is a fast-paced, transformation-focused, and highly acquisitive global marketing technology company in the earned media industry serving marketing and communications professionals through its multiple software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. I currently oversee the Company’s global Accounting and Accounting Operations function consisting of ~130 employees in 11 countries. Current org includes the following functions: General Ledger, Order to Cash (contract implementation, billing, collections, and cash applications), Accounts Payable, Reporting/Tech Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Treasury, Payroll, and Transformation. To date have overseen the integration of 3 acquisitions, US GAAP to IFRS conversion, UK to US GAAP conversion for an acquired entity, PtP automation rollout for multiple local accounting teams, migration to the corporate NetSuite instance for multiple local accounting teams, centralization of accounting processes to shorten the close timeline, and developed an AR collection strategy (with partnership from Sales) based on customer segmentation (i.e, product line, contract model, customer tier, etc.)
