I manage and oversee financial activities surrounding risk adjustment, financial modeling, the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). I also supervise the preparation and analysis of premium and enrollment reports and broker commissions while ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.I collaborate closely with the enrollment and billing, business intelligence, finance and risk adjustment departments to reconcile discrepancies and develop streamlined reporting templates and methodologies for our risk adjustment submissions. My responsibilities include overseeing the collection and analysis of data for risk adjustment submissions for Medicare Advantage (MA), the Healthcare Exchange (HIX) and Uniformed Services Family Health Plan (USFHP) while ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines. I collaborate with our actuarial and clinical teams to validate and interpret risk adjustment data, which leads to optimizing risk scores and improving patient care. Additionally, I lead the development of financial models that support strategic decision-making and provide insights to senior management.In addition, I am dedicated to leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of finance professionals, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Through regular training sessions, I aim to enhance team skills and knowledge, driving overall organizational success.

This degree helped me develop a strong technical skillset where I took on challenging financial problems and broke them down into more digestible concepts.Currently I am a Finance Manager at CHRISTUS Health where I utilize my skillset to breakdown various financial healthcare trends and communicate them to senior management in order to drive change within the organization. Before CHRISTUS Health, I was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs who analyzed Private Equity market trends and how this correlated to our fund performance. Before Goldman, I was an Actuarial Analyst with the health insurer Humana. At Humana, I utilized Power BI to revolutionize our monthly close process while also setting around $4.0 billion of monthly reserves for Humana\'s Medicare Individual Plans.On the side, I like to dabble in podcasting, financial literacy, weightlifting and cooking.
