ABOUT MATTHEW LAJOIE

Sales professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sales and Marketing and a minor in Philosophy. Eager to leverage education and hands-on experience in customer service, sales, and marketing to contribute to the growth and success of my team and organization.I have gained valuable experience in customer service, sales, and marketing through various internships and part-time jobs. Most recently, I worked as a sales and marketing intern at CSS, a leading manufacturer of springs and stampings, where I organized and updated contacts in the CRM system, created monthly sales and inventory reports, and shadowed team meetings and business partner visits. I currently work as a SDR for Deltek, providing consultative selling, virtual sales, and working in collaborative teams of SDRs and AEs to help serve customer needs. Through these roles, I have developed strong interpersonal communication, sales skills, and CRM skills, as well as a keen interest in the tech and manufacturing industries.I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges. I have also participated in a student-run think tank, and consultancy group, Spe Forti, where a team and I provided marketing research and analysis on various issues facing DMV black-owned restaurants. I have proficient computer skills in MacOS and Windows software, Microsoft Office Suite, Prezi, Google Slides, Google Spreadsheet, Excel, and Skype. I am looking for opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills in marketing and sales, and to contribute to the success of innovative and dynamic organizations.
