My favorite hobbies all involve doing hard things. Seeking out challenges and completing them successfully is what I enjoy. While I didn’t choose my profession for this reason, I was excited to hear Structural Engineering was one of the more challenging Civil Engineering tracks offered at UC. I like to push myself physically too – hiking the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim, working out at 5am in all types of weather (rain/shine, hot/cold), running a ½-marathon with a 30# ruck. Those types of things help keep me prepared for whatever’s next – personal and professional. They have taught me grit and determination, combined with integrity and gratitude will get you where you want to go.I\'m interested in making connections with other professionals, both in and outside of the construction industry. It’s a small world out there and you never know when we might be able to help each other out.Professionally, I\'m a licensed P.E. & S.E. with structural engineering experience on a large array of project types and scales in the building design realm; including industrial manufacturing facilities, government office buildings, museums, and health care facilities. My current role is business development for Gresham Smith. We are a multidisciplinary design and consulting firm offering a wide range of services across various sectors. Our expertise includes architecture, engineering, interior design, planning, and environmental services. We cater to industries such as healthcare, transportation, aviation, water resources, corporate workplaces, and industrial facilities. Our focus is on creating sustainable and innovative solutions tailored to meet clients\' needs while enhancing community and environmental well-being.
