Advising businesses on how to minimise risk, increase data security and improve performance across their network. Working in conjunction with account managers, with direct customer contact and building relationships with the leading vendors in the networking and security space. I work across all areas of IT security but my specialities and core focus are; perimeter security (firewalling, IPS, DLP, VPNs), application security & data security (patch management, encryption, load-balancing, acceleration, authentication) & endpoint security (web, email, data, mobile). I also work across all areas of networking; from routing to switching to WAN optimisation and implementation. My role is to provide clients with a unified approach to networking and security, designing the core and distributed infrastructure, achieving their goals in terms of speed and connectivity and then securing the infrastructure to give our clients a single point of contact for these mission-critical areas.
