ABOUT MATTHEW CLOUD

As a Director of Power & Utility Market Engagement at Enterprise Mobility, I leverage my extensive experience in grids and distributed energy technologies to develop and implement the company\'s global energy strategy. I am passionate about modernizing the power grid by leveraging new energy technologies and electrified transportation to increase grid efficiency. With over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, I have a proven track record in a diverse set of disciplines from traditional power systems engineering to corporate strategy on energy technologies and EVs. I enjoy leveraging that experience to translate complex trends in power into C-suite level insights that position organizations for long-term success in energy. Prior to joining Enterprise Mobility in May 2022, I led the development of National Grid\'s holistic EV roadmap across NY, MA, and RI, and managed a portfolio of over 150 distributed energy resource applications. I have published multiple papers on EV impacts in journals and authored thought leadership works on proactive grid investment to support EV fleets, highway fast charging and airport ecosystems. I hold a Master of Science in Power Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Clarkson University, respectively.
