ABOUT MATTHEW CASEY
I am a Senior Agile Coach (PSM II, PSPO I, SAFe 5.0) with over 12 years of experience coaching and implementing Agile/Scrum in the Public (State level) sector, in the Nonprofit sector (CareSource, FEE), and also in the Private sector (Finance, Big Pharma, Corporate Retail, and US Defense Contracting), leading with Agility projects and departments in size between $600k and $20MMy main focus is creating successful teams with strong skills in self-organization and cross-functionality and a drive for continuous improvement. I support Product Owners in visualizing progress, creating a transparent Product Backlog and maximizing the value of the product. I help organizations in making Scrum successful by supporting management in changing processes, procedures, culture and behavior. Due to a strong focus on the principles of Agile and the values of Scrum, I try to ensure the spirit of Scrum is truly understoodI\'ve coached and implemented Agile/Scrum in SCALED, Waterfall, Wagile (blend of Waterfall and Agile), Lean, Six Sigma, and DevOps environments. I\'ve coached and implemented Agile/Scrum with on and offshore teams or blends of both, and I\'ve done this with front-end and back-end application teams. I\'ve contributed to white paper work on Agile. I have experience with Jira, IBM tools (RRC and RTC), Trello, Active Collab, VersionOne, Monday.com, and Agilo for Scrum.Agile is my passion, because I love to serve others, and I\'ve repeatedly seen the culture-changing power Agile has had with many teams to bring teams to greater heights of creation, collaboration, and innovation than previously conceived.
