ABOUT MATT BURNS

In past lives as an HR executive, technology co-founder, strategy consultant and industry analyst, helping organizations and their leaders adapt, transform and otherwise realize continuous improvement through technology, has always been a passion. That passion endures. I’ve had the opportunity to be part of many great teams, including one awarded the “Most Innovative Use of HR Technology” in 2017 and the \"Canadian HR Team of the Year\" in 2018. As the host of the \'AI in HR\' podcast, I sit down with executives, entrepreneurs & academics; discussing the innovative ways organizations, and their leaders, overcome complex issues at work. Promoted to an audience of over 1.6M business professionals, we’re democratizing knowledge, sharing best practices and connecting ideas at scale. I believe in the potential of immersive technologies. As one of the founding organizers of the \'Global HR Summit\'- the world\'s first enterprise conference presented in virtual reality, I helped bring together a 3-day event featuring 60 global speakers - in VR headsets - to an audience of over 800. I believe that immersive technologies enable digital transformation, bring us closer together, and make work more human.
