I am a published research analyst at a policy and regulatory due diligence firm that works exclusively for institutional investors. As the firm\'s primary special situations analyst, I tend to focus on complex situations particularly in stressed/distressed credit. A particular area of focus of mine has been covering the fiscal and economic situation in Puerto Rico throughout the entirety of the Commonwealth\'s debt restructuring process as well as the years leading up the fiscal crisis.As I am a generalist by training, I also have helped to assist clients in a number of other topic areas. I have worked on FCC matters, distressed corporate situations and other off-the run ideas where there is a policy catalyst with the potential to materially move the value of a security. I also assist the rest of the research team on how to analyze complex debt restructurings.
