ABOUT WALKER WICKLUND

I design impactful experiences that connect people and inspire action—whether through high-level policy events in Washington, D.C, leading a community-focused women’s organization, or building a thriving high school softball program.At Capstone, I develop and execute events for private equity, capital markets, and corporate clients across the TMT, Financial Services, and Special Situations teams. I oversee programming, speaker engagement, and logistics for roundtables and briefings with executives, policymakers, and industry leaders—ensuring every event delivers measurable value and strengthens client relationships. Previously at GovExec, I curated speakers and content for large-scale summits and workshops, securing 100+ senior government officials and elevating audience engagement through high-caliber programming.Outside of work, I serve as President of The Madison of Washington, DC, leading a 100-member women’s organization focused on professional and social connection and giving back to the community. In this role, I oversee and execute the strategy that brings women together across the DC area while supporting meaningful local impact.As Varsity Head Coach at Washington–Liberty High School, I lead the development of a sustainable, future-focused softball program—shaping young athletes through skill-building, discipline, and leadership on and off the field. I also coach with a 16U travel program, drawing on my experience as a former Division I athlete at Dartmouth to mentor players and foster confidence, teamwork, and resilience.Across every role, my goal is the same: to create meaningful experiences, build strong connections, and drive lasting impact.
