ABOUT MATT STEELE

Head of Procurement & Supply Chain at Curo, with over a twenty years of experience leading public procurement and supply chain activity to deliver value for money, strong governance, and positive outcomes for communities. I specialise in contract and category management, supplier relationship management, and asset-led decision making, ensuring resources are deployed effectively and sustainably.I work closely with stakeholders to strengthen asset intelligence, support impactful investment, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining a clear focus on customer outcomes. A key area of my work is public procurement regulation, including organisational readiness for the Procurement Act, embedding new policies and procedures while upholding high standards of compliance, assurance, and contract management governance.
