ABOUT MATT FOX

I’m a former U.S. Army professional with over two decades of experience leading teams, planning complex operations, and solving real-world problems in high-pressure environments. After retiring from the Army, I transitioned into defense software and modeling & simulation, where I continue to support mission outcomes from the technical side. At Cole Engineering, I work at the intersection of operations, training, and technology helping translate real user needs into practical software solutions. My background allows me to bridge the gap between warfighters and engineers by bringing an operational mindset into product development, demonstrations, and customer support.My strengths include-Turning ambiguous problems into executable plans-Communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical teams-Supporting products that improve readiness and decision-making-Working in fast-moving, team-oriented environments.I’m motivated by flexibility, meaningful work, and building products that actually get used. I thrive in roles where I can contribute across planning, product support and solution delivery—especially in training, simulation and operational software.
