I work with a team of highly skilled emergency preparedness planners that analyze data and current emergency preparedness best practices to develop plans that are a useful tool for the clients we serve. On any given day, I can be tasked to research, analyze, and write a regional catastrophic preparedness supply chain gap analysis as part of the regional catastrophic preparedness grant program (RCPGP) that has been awarded to a client, analyze current client capabilities and develop the required report for their THIRA/SPR, or write an Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and develop training presentations. I also serve as an exercise controller or evaluator to assist our clients to exercise their plans, identify gaps, and assist in the development of improvement plans through feedback gathered from After-Actions Reports (AARs).

I am a motivated and driven emergency management professional. I’m currently enrolled at Northern Kentucky University in pursuit of my MPA, while working full time as planner for IEM. In addition to my emergency management experience, I bring a mix of knowledge from my time as a Certified Athletic Trainer, volunteer firefighter/EMT, and wildland firefighter. Most important to me, I’m a proud husband and father of two.
