Under his leadership, M.R.S. Machining has been named one of American Machinist Magazine’s Top Ten Machine Shops and has earned the TOP SHOP designation from Modern Machine Shop Magazine.With over 30 years in the industry, Matt is more than a business owner—he’s an inventor with two machining tool patents and a passionate advocate for technical education. He helped launch Cardinal Manufacturing at Eleva-Strum school and continues to donate his time, equipment, and expertise to help students gain real-world experience.Matt is active in his community, serving on the Chippewa Valley Technical College Board, several local economic boards, and having served multiple terms on the local school board. His insights and achievements have been featured in the New York Times and on Fox Business News.He is also the author of \"MRS Machining A Manufacturing Story,\" which chronicles the journey from a small family shop to national recognition.When he’s not advancing the field of manufacturing, you’ll find Matt officiating football and basketball games or out on his bike—he once logged miles in a single year and even conquered Pikes Peak.
