ABOUT MATHIAS DSOUZA
Hi, I\'m Mathias (pronounced \"ma-thy-as\") and I\'m a Lead AI Engineer, architecting applied artificial intelligence projects across large enterprises. I enjoy collaborating with organisations to build software solutions to tackle their most complex challenges and provide a genuine return on investment through technology.Before joining IBM, I developed expertise in natural language processing, API design, and software engineering at Accenture. Earlier in my career, I was contributing to engineering research in the aerospace and biomedical sectors, and graduated with a MEng degree in Aerospace Engineering.Some of my proudest achievements are those shared with my clients; from reducing mechanical engineers\' time spent on manual tasks by 85% using natural language processing, to helping a charity fund initiatives for children with terminal illnesses using machine learning. I also enjoy spending time mentoring, contributing to open-source technologies, and presenting at tech conferences.
