Conduct training to ensure crewmembers maintain proper instruction in safety and security techniques. Responsible for all work assignments for junior deck department officers and unlicensed. Ensure adherence to United States Coast Guard Regulations and Ship Management System Regulations. Responsible for ensuring Deck Department adherence to ships budget.
