Coordinate with other entities (State, Local, Tribal and Territorial governments, or SLTTs), OtherFederal Agencies (OFAs), and other components of the Executive Branch on compliance withNational Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) requirements and regulations, and their compliance withspecific environmental laws and executive orders.• Collaborate and foster relationships between Federal, State, local, tribal, territorial, nongovernmentalorganizations, and private sector and their response mechanisms, structures, and authorities.• Advise senior leaders on mitigation program policy and efforts to include risk analysis, risk reduction,and risk insurance programs.• Program manager for interagency consultation and coordination regarding flood risk and floodresilience implementation measures.• Coordinate the development of interagency tools, products, and educational materials to assist OFAsin sound floodplain management practices and flood risk determination.• Conduct flood risk reduction outreach to OFA’s within established interagency processes/Seek anddevelop new avenues to conduct outreach.• Serve as a liaison to the Executive Office of the President on federal flood risk reduction-relatedmatters.• Develop weekly programmatic implementation reports about federal flood risk reduction effort toinform FEMA upper management decision making and awareness.• Assist with FEMA Rulemaking and policy update efforts.Major Accomplishments: Directed flood resilience initiatives that contributed to national policy reforms.Assisted in developing and launching of the Federal Flood Standard Support Tool, which was awarded a“2024 Special Achievement in GIS Award” by ESRI and received recognition from the White House.
