This position is located in the Community Resilience and Infrastructure Grants (CRAIG) Branch of the Mitigation Division of FEMA Region The CRAIG Branch implements the non-disaster hazard mitigation assistance programs for FEMA Region In this position, I will serve as a Grants Management Specialist supporting the CRAIG Branch. Responsible for managing, coordinating, and accomplishing the full range of complex assignments related to administration of FEMA\'s National Dam Safety Program (NDSP). DUTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:Overseeing the technical advancement of the awardee, which includes the observation and evaluation of their performance;Suggesting modifications in requirements to the Branch Chief in charge of the program;Deciphering the scope of work and any additional technical support needed;Performing evaluations and risk assessments of grant beneficiaries and establishing annual monitoring timetables in accordance with policies and directives;Executing and deciphering policies, standards, regulations, practices, and procedures related to grant management; andAssisting with Cooperative Technical Assistance initiatives to enable communities vulnerable to dam-related floods to gain a better comprehension of their risk.
