ABOUT ELLIE JOYE
I recently graduated from the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy with a minor in Religious Studies. I currently serve as a Lab Manager for the Experiential Leadership Development Lab at the UVA Darden School of Business, where I support research focused on ethical leadership and organizational behavior. My academic and professional journey has been driven by a deep commitment to advocacy, equity, and impact. Through internships with organizations like the High Atlas Foundation in Morocco and Sustaining Way in South Carolina, I gained firsthand experience addressing global human rights challenges and supporting underserved communities. My time at AlphaSights as a Capital Markets Associate further sharpened my skills in strategic thinking and stakeholder communication. At UVA, I was actively involved in Phi Alpha Delta, the Virginia Undergraduate Law Review, and Friends in School Mentoring; experiences that helped shape my interest in the law as a powerful tool for social change.I plan to matriculate to law school in Fall 2026 to pursue a legal career focused on public interest, international human rights, and social justice.
