I teach piano lessons to students ranging from beginners to advanced level. For the business I have created brochures and business cards. Currently, my responsibilities include teaching, management, organization and communication skills. Furthermore, accounting, advertisement, record keeping, ordering and purchasing new piano books and creating and printing monthly newsletters. My music expertise lies in classical, gospel and Broadway Musicals. In addition, I tutor students from Kindergarten to College level. Lastly, I edit college student papers.

ABOUT MARY ENGLEMAN

Have 30 years of experience in teaching, working collaboratively on team committees, and leading various committees. Skills to head committees: critical thinking skills, ability to solve a problem quickly and efficiently, excellent communication skills and management ability. Head of the following committees: ·Early Childhood Educator Trainer helping other K-3rd grade teachers related to 21st Century Learning techniques. ·Parent-teacher liaison helped me to plan effectively what activities would be beneficial to both volunteers and teachers, ·Team leader for various grades looked at student work, created rubrics to assess the work and discussed and implemented ways to help teachers be successful with all students. Students’ math grades improved and we could focus on their weaknesses and help them with those standards. ·Head of the Academic Awards committee gave me a perspective that students enjoy seeing their name on an awards list and showing pride in their achievements to teachers, friends, fellow students and parents. ·Science committee managed 35 teaching staff, planned science workshops and presentations. Presented a symposium at the North Carolina Science Teachers Association Conference. ·Lead science teacher through North Carolina Partnership with Science and Math, presented workshops, completed follow-up visits to teachers and made recommendations to help improve science lessons. The students’ science grades improved on the state tests. Served as a team member on the following committees: ·Continuous School Improvement team member looked at test scores and created various tools and SMART Goals to help students achieve success.
